The C-Frame was engineered with input from Leatt lab engineers and medical professionals to help reduce injury risk by controlling impact and twisting forces in a different way than conventional dual-hinge designs.
At the core of the design is 3-point force distribution and a super stiff mono-hinge mounted on the outside of the knee. That single-hinge layout is not just about strength. It also gives you a more natural inside-knee feel against the bike, which matters a lot when you are gripping the tank through corners, braking bumps, and technical terrain.
