Inside the vest lives a brain of accelerometers and gyroscopes that constantly read your every move, waiting to fire the airbag before your body even hits the ground. The cowhide leather chassis is supple yet tough, built with ribbed stretch panels for comfort and perforated zones for airflow, so it feels like gear you want to ride in, not just something you “have to” wear. Add in Bluetooth connectivity, LED/haptic alerts, and a 40-hour rechargeable battery, and you’ve got tech that’s as relentless as your riding.

• Tech-Air® 3 v2 is a fully autonomous active Airbag System and does not require any external connections or sensors on the motorcycle for the System to operate
• Tech-Air® v2 3 incorporates six integrated sensors (three accelerometers [one triaxial accelerometer], and three gyroscopes [one triaxial gyroscope]) to provide the best crash monitoring performance in various riding situations, and even when stopped
• Activates automatically via the magnetic zip closure
• The System's packable design allows for easy storage in a backpack, saddle bag, top case, or pannier when not in use
• Outer chassis is constructed from cow leather with a softening process for comfort with ribbed leather elasticated side panels for comfort and expansion volume
• Upper chest and shoulders feature perforated panels
• Tech-Air® 3 v2 is designed with a center zipper with two internal magnet snap buttons on each side— one to hold the chest bladder in place across the chest while riding, and one to fold it back and conceal when not riding
• Two zippered hand pockets, two zippered chest pockets with a sunglasses channel on the right chest, and an inner concealed pocket
• Waist loop to attach gloves or other items
• A discretely hidden but easily visible LED display on the front chest with reflective inner backing to optimize light visibility indicates the airbag's operational status
• The LED display also incorporates a haptic alert, which vibrates to confirm the System is armed, and alerts the rider when the battery is running low
• Tech-Air® 3 v2 incorporates Alpinestars' Pro 2nd Generation compact Electronic Control Unit (ECU) which may be found in the ECU pocket located in the upper back of the inner, Tech-Air® 3 vest
• Bluetooth low energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity to the Tech-Air® App allows riders to monitor the System's operational status, battery status, as well as provides a detailed map of motorcyclists rides via MyRide
• Upgradable system software is accessible via the Tech-Air® App, where riders can quickly verify the installed software version and eventually perform the latest software updates

• The gas inflator canisters can be replaced by select Alpinestars dealers and certified Tech-Air Service Centers
